Pleo is a sophisticated life form engineered to capture both your heart and your imagination. From time to time, the Electronic Pet Shop will come across a pet that combines technology and personality in a truly special way. Pleo is awesome and could be your best friend. It behaves and interacts in a lifelike fashion - exploring its environment, moving and gesturing in an organic manner and expressing a wide range of emotions.

Over time, Pleo will evolve - advancing through life stages. They begin life as a newly hatched Camarasaurus, but the moment Pleo has an owner, it begins to develop its own personality and habits based on how much time you interact with it. Pleo also loves to chew on its training leaf, but mind out, it might not want to let you have it back!

Pleo has sensors all over its body to detect the environment through sensors for sound, touch and movement. This allows Pleo to respond and move in an autonomously.

Pleo's little quirks, such as the way it will sniff its environment, blink its eyes and stomp its feet, make it instantly loveable. Just like a real pet, Pleo's behaviour is a combination of nature and how it is treated. If Pleo gets scared, it will need comforting and re-assurance otherwise it may become a lonely existence for Pleo. If treated well, Pleo will grow more confident as it finds out what it means to be a dinosaur in the 21st Century.

Pleo has 14 motors to provide movement and over 100 gears. A microphone on either side of its head, allows it to hear what direction sound is coming from and 8 skin sensors means it knows exactly where you're touching it. Pleo is truly amazing in both technology and realism. Upgrades and an SD slot mean that Pleo carry on learning far into the future.

Pleo comes with a rechargeable battery. On first use, please allow 12 hours for the battery to be fully charged for best battery life.
