Walkie Bits Turtles are the smallest ever programmable pet. The little turtle will walk, hum a little tune, dance the boogie and race all with a tap of its shell and Time magazine voted this half shell hero one of the best inventions of 2005!

Turtles seem like the ideal pet. They are cute, tiny and live in a shell. What more could you want? However, turtles don't stay tiny for very long and many people don't realise that they can grow up to 11 inches long! Walkie Bits on the other hand, don't grow and always bring a touch of the slow life that make real turtles so fascinating... Also, you try making a real turtle race!

Walkie Bits Turtles are made by Takara Tomy and have been imported from Japan as they are very difficult to find in the UK! The Turtle has four different modes in which it can play:
Walk and run - This mode makes the the Walkie Bits walk along at one of eight different patterns and speeds. It also makes the tail swing.
Race - A very exciting mode that allows you to race your Walkie Bits against each other. Because the turtles are only little it will slow down and speed up at random depending on how energetic it is feeling. Imagine the fun you can have by racing them against each other for friendly competition, the next pint or, for higher stakes, the deeds to your house.
Sing - In this mode you can make your Walkie Bit sing one of a number of tunes.
Rhythm - This is where you can program your Walkie Bits. Clicking the turtle's shell in various sequences will make the Turtle boogie to your beat.
Walkie Bits shell is interchangeable with each other so you can collect the whole range of colours.

Walkie Bits come with a Japanese Instruction Manual but we include an English one as well so you know how to look after your little Turtle. As with every adoption at the Electronic Pet Shop, the Walkie Bits Turtle comes with its own personalised adoption package! Just fill in the details below!
